QLD Theme Parks -2 Parks $99.95 - 3 Parks $149.95 UNLIMITED until 30/6/2010 - OPEN TO ALL AUST!

240

ENDLESS SUMMER PASS - NO POSTCODE RESTRICTIONS. This is the first time I have seen these VIP UNLIMITED passes available outside QLD and Northern NSW!! Now we can all enjoy some special rates at the theme parks.

The first time I saw this promotion it was for 2 theme parks only BUT when you click on the link to buy the pass it appears you can now buy an unlimited pass for 3 theme parks too!! The passes are not quite as cheap as the QLD VIP pass but they are close and represent outstanding value for unlimited access to 2 or 3 parks until 30 June 2010.

Note 2 parks Adult unlimited is $99.95 - 3 parks unlimited is $149.95.
Children and Pensioners are even cheaper! Small booking charge applies and you must join MyFun (free to join).

Choose 2 Parks or the 3 Park option and get unlimited entry to Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World (But not to special events conducted outside advertised park trading hours) until 30 June 2010 inclusive.

You must join or login to MyFun to purchase the Endless Summer Pass.

There are no postcode restrictions on this ticket. If you are a QLD resident or resident of northern New South Wales postcodes 2450-2490 the QLD VIP Pass ticket may be better suited for you.

The Endless Summer Pass does not include entry to the Sea World Resort Water Park, Sea World Helicopters or Sea World Animal Adventures.

  • why they didnt include dreamworld? i think ppl more attracted to go to dreamworld

    • I think Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild are run by the same company.

Dreamworld and Whitewater World are run by another corporate entity (representing competition.

Correction - Movie World, Sea World, and Wet n' Wild are of the same company.

Oh yeah - that's what I meant to say!! Thanks John.

  • so actually how much saving we get from this ?

    • +1

depends on how many times you go :D

  • Nice.

  • NVM

  • Wow, they're really getting desperate this year aren't they?

    • I think the numbers of international tourists have dried up a bit with rising AUD and of course the GFC. You'd have to wonder though how many times people from interstate would be willing to actually go to Gold Coast or Brisbane to use their pass, whereas for locals it's a bit different.

+ve from me though as it's still cheaper than buying a ticket for just two of the parks.

  • not really great value, a month ago these were $99 for 3 parks 1 year entry.

As this stands this is only 8months or so

I think the benefit may be the postcode restriction is lifted, therefore people travelling interstate can use it now.

That's right - the removal of the postcode restriction is what makes this appealing. Previously to get this type of deal you need to live in SE Qld or Northern NSW.

This deal means that families with kids might be able to squeeze in a couple of holidays on the Gold Coast before the deadline of 30 June 2010 - the savings on theme parks are really quite good if you can get up there a couple of times or more before your ticket expires. That's what I plan to do.

  • Did I miss something?

"The QLD VIP Pass is valid for Queensland residents and residents of northern New South Wales postcodes 2450-2490 only. Photographic proof of residency must be shown on first visit."

    • You are looking at the wrong pass - it is the Endless Summer Pass NOT the QLD VIP pass this bargain relates to.

"You must join or login to MyFun to purchase the Endless Summer Pass.

There are no postcode restrictions on this ticket. If you are a QLD resident or resident of northern New South Wales postcodes 2450-2490 the QLD VIP Pass ticket may be better suited for you."

  • How do these passes work? Would you be able to 'share' one with a friend? Say I use the pass this month but a friend is heading to QLD in January - would they be able to use it or does it have your name and details printed on it?

    • It probably works the same as the QLD VIP pass.

That means, you present your purchase order at the gate the first time you visit one of the parks. You would normally be asked for ID. They take a photo of you and print a ticket with a photo ID at this time. From then on, you simply present you photo ID ticket each time you enter one of the parks. I would say they wouldn't like to see your friend using your ticket (but who knows, if you look the same and you're up for a risk…).

hmmm even if you can only go to goldcoast once (before expire), but have time to visit 2 parks, this pass still save us some money.. am i right?
