We thinking a birthday party for abt 20ppl, no preference really yacht or sailor.
prolly best to mention a location, and whether you want someone driving the boat or if you plan to do it yourself (then mention whether you or someone else has their boat license)
Most likely Sydney Harbour area, we will need a driver.
Sydney by Sail is a good one. Take a look at their website to check out their fleet and rates.
As for the driver you need, I'd recommend checking out Golf Clearance Outlet. They've got a few specials running at the moment.
i know im pretty much disregarding what you said, even though i asked for the information, but i rented a houseboat over the weekend for a surprise party. cost 1.4k (about 1.6k incl fuel, insurances and motor) for a boat sleeping 10. so maybe multiply by 2 if you want 20 people. pickup boat on sat around 8:30am, and have the boat back on sunday around 4pm.

Where did you go as in locations? and which company did you hire the boat from ?
I think for victorians we have to go further inland to get a decent boat house hire.
What type of boat are you after & what for? Small run about or something Yacht like?
