To participate
Requires The Great Eggscape Egg Hunt app on iOS & Android. The promotion will be conducted in store, at all Big W stores in Australia.
How it works
There will be 5 hidden Bluetooth powered beacons in each Big W store. Individuals are required to locate a Hidden Egg in a Big W store, using the App, in order to gain an entry into the draw(s) corresponding to that particular Hidden Egg. Individuals who locate all five (5) Hidden Eggs, using the App in a single Big W store will also receive an entry into the Final prize draw.
Furthermore, the first 300 individuals to visit each Big W store will be prompted to receive a gift of one milk chocolate egg valued at $2. Individuals need to show the app downloaded on their device.
One entry permitted per draw more or less.
Prizes
I think it's just poorly worded when it says the "first (10) valid entires". Given that the T&Cs say:
"All draws will take place at Saatchi & Saatchi, 70 George Street, The Rocks, NSW 2000 on 09/04/2015 from 1:00pm AEST."
I believe it means that all draws will take place on the one day and it will be the "first 10 valid entries drawn" so they could come from any state.
More referring to the 'egg' prizes, seems to say like the first 4/6/etc will get the prize. Hmm..

The first valid entry drawn from all entries received in each Big W store in the Hidden Egg 5 draw will each win a Yoshi Amiibo figure valued at $17.
@Spackbace: Oh it says that after (for Egg 5) but i'm not really sure what it's trying to say to be honest, perhaps it's just me. Based off the maximum cost for each state, for egg 5 (for example), it's 1 yoshi amiibo per store and then UP to 4 Wii u's, which is 4 nationwide if i'm correct.

Any ideas on if it starts at a single time for all states then? Or what is meant to be fixed as such? Site doesn't even have anything on it except for the terms

Sigh have a look at other competition threads and see. Just copy pasting the T's and C's (which wasn't even done at the start) doesn't tell someone how to enter,what they win, nothing. Instead it just leaves it up to a mod to fix your mess.
Posting all the T&C is even worse, just use the specified section to link it to. Better off just posting some of the details such as dates, prizes, how to enter, etc.
@Spackbace: Oh, okay. So you mean that the poster should read and translate the legalese so that it makes sense to the average comper. Cool, I'll give that a go next time.

Word has it from another site that this doesn't start till Thursday (despite the ts and cs), so dont be surprised if the beacons arent turned on in store yet
Bit late but I went in with a friend and they basically said the same thing, though we picked up our free eggs though. Funnily enough, the hot-cold meter was working near the storage door so haven't been put out yet for sure.

Hidden egg 1 Prize Draw sounds like a nightmare tbh, 10 freaking kilos of chocolate. Are they trying to kill us, knowing we won't be able to stop once we start eating???
Someone asked on their facebook page about start date in the end, even they are saying the 16th it started but they are planning to escalate to management and get back to us.
I just tried.. It gets close to hot, but no matter where I try standing, it doesn't go all the way to the end..
