Why not just get an ATA that plugs into your router? It's a little box that plugs into a router LAN port at one end and your normal RJ-11 teleport port on the other end. You log into it and put in your VOIP account details and can set up dialling rules.
For my parents I bought a top-of-the-range AC Wifi router, and a Minitar MVA11A ATA. I then bought a 4 handset cordless phone system, and plugged the main base station into the ATA. The other handsets were distributed throughout the house.
EDIT: The ATA handles all the VOIP stuff and you're then free to buy whichever router you fancy.
I am also looking for similar router. The router Budii-lite provided by iiNet is crap and has coverage of less than 10 m.
