      AMT is just a BIOS-enabled tool set to enhance capability. Whilst it's primarily used for Servers, it's by no means added piece of equipment. Many standard Desktop PCS have various BIOS features that are shipped disabled but can be enabled for enhanced experience e.g:

      • VT-x/AMD-v (how many standard desktop users you know of run VMs on their entry-midrange PCs) yet this is available on school desktops

      This "Server" has nothing "Server" about it except:

      • ECC RAM Feature
      • Software enhancements
      • Uplifted support

      The cheapest Entry-Level HP Tower Server is shipped a Xeon Chipset which is a core distinguisher between Desktop and Server grade PCs. I repeat, Entry Level.

      This is just a gimmick labelled "Server" so all the IT (wannabe) fools buy-in

          Actually, scrap that, despite it saying it was "Shipped from Shipping Center to International Destination", it's gone to Los Angeles! Sounds like the rumours about eBays "priority" international shipping service are true - it sucks! One week since shipping and it's still travelling all over the US.

      Yes you can install WIN7!

      The system comes with a bootable disk with all of the major systems drivers (WIN 7/8, etc.), just put it in first (as they have set up some unattended install script with drivers embedded)!
