Got excited when I say the price… but then noticed it was USD… so $31.99 USD becomes $490.87 AUD… curse this sliding dollar!
    (Yes, exaggerated)

    • $42 AUD, which is cheaper than what I paid last week! :)

      • Sadly $30 is my sweet spot. I'll continue to wait.
        :)

$37.49 for Mortal Kombat X works out to $49!
Can get the boxed game for that price, or CD key for half that!

$31.99 for Dying Light works out to $42
Can get the boxed game for $44.98 delivered, or CD key for $20.22

Come back when there's a bargain!

    • +1

That $20 is for a EU key only, plus I'd always be very careful when buying keys from these sites, you never know if it'll get cancelled on you…

      • -3

But that's not the only store cheaper than the OP

        • Well, link a reputable store that has a region free key then. Because I think we established just two days ago that OzGameShop was the cheapest legitimate site at $43.

    • +2

You need to check it clearly before claiming cheaper prices. All the low prices are russian keys. Russian keys require VPN to activate and it is against the T&C of Steam to use VPN to activate russian keys. You risk losing your entire Steam account for it.

For Dying light, the cheapest non VPN key is onlinekeystore in the list HOWEVER, when you click to the site and select the price in AUD, it is actually $55.58. Unlimitedgames, the next in the list is correct priced BUT only include 1 DLC, which is a different product than this.

Do your research properly next time if you do not know how cd keys work :)

Until you can prove that Mortal Kombat X cant be found cheaper anywhere than the OP, my neg still stands and is still valid

        • +1

Not sure why you won't even bother clicking yourself the lowest prices few in the list. Cdkeyswarehouse sells Russian key at 35 AUD, which requires VPN and cdkeys is cheaper but does not seem to include Goro.

If you miss out on Goro as preorder bonus, you will most likely have to wait a couple of months before they put it up as DLC in the future that you need to purchase, which is very common when it comes to preorder bonus. I won't be comparing physical box copies as blockbuster and ozgameshop have the tendency to take up a month to deliver, which defeat the purpose of buying cd key.

You are right, Mortal Kombat X can be found cheaper if you are willing to ignore preorder bonuses. Same as Dying Light, if you want to miss out on DLC, you can always buy the key that is $2 cheaper. It depends on how you value those things. You could say this is a deal given what it is.

It would be more fair if you neg when you found completely identical product at a cheaper price, at the moment I found nothing for Dying Light + 3 DLC and MKX with Goro that is cheaper than this from your list. I'm sure I can find cheaper with some other more dodgy cd key site but are they worth the risk?

          @Letrico:

I won't be comparing physical box copies as blockbuster and ozgameshop have the tendency to take up a month to deliver, which defeat the purpose of buying cd key.

Feel free to use general assumptions just to inflate your argument. Why would anyone pay about the same price for a cd key, as they would with the whole box and packaging?!

Anyway I'm just going to leave this alone, past comments/votes of yours prove you're a Gaming Dragons 'fanboy', so regardless you won't see otherwise, I may as well be arguing with a wall.

        • +1

          @Spackbace:

Do you even know why people are choosing CD Key over physical copy?
          1)Cheap
          2)Instant Delivery

If you did not know, you clearly got the concept wrong, might be why you keep on bringing physical copy that take months to arrive into the discussion. Why would anyone, willing to wait a month for something you can get right now for a couple of dollar cheaper? By the time your physical game arrive, the cd key will drop price even further.

          EDIT:
Yes I have purchased from ozgameshop and blockbuster before, it is really not worth the wait. Worst of all, sometimes things arrived and I don't even remember when I bought it since it took so long. I'm sure other people can relate to that.
          END EDIT

Btw I have only bought once from Gaming Dragons before.

If proving false claim like yours and being informative to other ozbargainer by giving them advice to choose the best value for their money is being a 'fanboy', please call me 'fanboy' then, but I would rather you call me the proper term, 'ozbargainer'.

          Cheers

        • as they would with the whole box and packaging?!

Obviously you've never purchased a CD key in your life. People buy it so they don't have to wait for that physical box to show up. So they don't need to drive anywhere. Simply buy the key at 12am, go to bed, wake up and it's done downloading. No need to wait till 9am the next morning to drive somewhere to drive all the way back and then sit through the installation process. It's called convenience. Your negative vote is indeed valid but now you're acting like a child and that is why you're getting downvotes.

Just a heads up the DLC's are just small pre-order costumes etc, not a season pass or anything.
Still a great deal, I grabbed it last week.

  • "Full details will be specified in the email after purchase." I wonder if part of the "full details" requires a VPN.

    • +1

It is just the email giving instruction on how to activate the cd key on Steam. GMG sends me similar emails too.

    • It doesn't.

    NIL.
