I bought some when I posted the deal last week. I haven't tried it yet so can't comment on taste, but in terms of the bottle design it's absolutely fantastic. Would be a great gift and they all come individually boxed which is nice. I just hope the taste matches! Will crack it open this weekend I suspect.

OK. I'm a complete newb when it comes to "fortified wine". Is this particular drop actually port? Of is it one of the other five classes that, along with port, constitute "fortified wine".
Also, has anyone actually tasted it? If so, can you give an indication as to what it is like? e.g. compared with some of the more well-known ports. Are my questions stupid? I don't know, but I'd like it someone could give me some feedback before I pull the trigger - the bottles are beautiful, but if the stuff sucks, then the bottles are expensive.

Yes, it's a tawny port. I haven't tried (yet), but with 93 points from James Halliday it should be reliably decent :)
