  I've recently discovered that audiobooks are a great way to keep sanity when on long road trips with kids… Even better than videos for some reason…

    I think it's because they need to concentrate on making the picture in their head. With a DVD you can punch on and not miss much.

  Yeah we've been getting audiobook/cd's from the local library & loadign them onto a USB stick for the car, they're handy for even short 30mins trips.
