HELP NEEDED! 2GB Ram (1066MHz) OR 4GB Ram (800MHz)??

Hi guys..

I just build a desktop (Q8200) and my Ram spec is Option 2. i was just wondering, which is better?

Option 1: 2GB - 1GBX2 Corsair 1066MHz
Option 2: 4GB - 2GBX2 Kingston 800Mhz

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 - 32Bit, hence it only recognize 3.5GB of ram. Im thinking of either upgrading the OS to XP 64Bit/Windows 7 64Bit so it can recognize 4GB Ram (but hesitating because of compatibility issues with games and programs) or change the ram to Option 1. Which would you guys recommend and which is faster?

    OZBargain is not really the appropriate forum for asking computer questions…

    Get 4GB DDR2 800MHz.

    4gb vs 2gb of ram has more impact than 800Mhz vs 1066Mhz

        Put in a poll if u want more people to visit the page. PS - make sure you put in "candy" as an option (apart from serious options), otherwise the people get annoyed.
