Just received an email from Woolworths Online stating "Did you know that when you shop with Woolworths Online you get the same prices that you do in-store?"
Is this a new change?
Just checked a few things. Even obscure non-special things seem to be same price as in-store.
Coles online definitely does not seem to have done this. Maybe they will soon.
I may start doing click and collect more often from Woolies.

That means more customers and more zombies walking around at 7am, filling the back boxes, looks depressed and sad as they walk slower then a old lady (most likely as management is still in bed)
oh that is good. if they want to charge more for someone to pick the products then the should take a transparent approach and just add a 'picking fee' rather than hiding it in the product prices.
i wonder how this will affect the business models of other 'shop for you' sites that have recently popped up that are charging say 10% on top of cost + delivery. it will be cheaper to buy direct from woolworths.
That's probably what their competitive advantage will be.
By extension doesn't this have to mean that prices in one store will now be identical to those in another store? Hmm.
Yeh I noticed this when comparing heavy items, Like kitty litter where over $1 more each,
