Having my PVR remote fail, am on the hunt for any deals for a Logitech Harmony 650. They used to be on sale regularly here but have not seen any for awhile. Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers.

ahhh….no need for a new remote. A friend told me a neat trick by testing the infra red signal. Using your smart phone camera hold the remote to the camera and press any button to check for blinking light. Mine had none so pulled cover of and cleaned the circuit board. Put back together and now it works. Simple really. Good way to check if batteries are flat too. :)

I bought mine from ebay. The remote now supports 8 devices read here while the packaging and some website still states as 5.
