  I think DSE (Dick Smith Electronics) has a deal at least once every month. So unless it's really urgent, I usually wait till the DSE special to happen.

    I've got Aldi LSD aaa and they work great, I think they are $5.99 for a 4 pack of aa or aaa.
    Or just wait a few days for another Eneloop deal.
