Primo Chorizo $1 Coles Central West Plaza VIC

50

I'm not sure if this is store specific but $1 chorizos at Central West Plaza Vic. Usually $3 each and on occasion half price. I have not seen them this low.

Here is a link to an awesome chorizo stew, I also add chicken.

Good price if you are in the area but it'll be just a store specific deal, maybe due to end of display life? The other week I picked up bacon for 50c/kg, cabanossi sticks for 5c each and all olive/sundried tomatoes/etc varieties for $1/kg at nowhere near expiry at Coles Toombul and this was the reason they gave me. It made enough pizzas for a month!

Love chorizos! Thanks for the recipe link. Very thoughtful.

  • Is this the one in West Footscray / Braybrook?

    • Correct

And if you are in the area, worth visiting PAP's meat in sunshine.$7.90 a kg from memory, home made chorizo..

  • I'm not sure if this is store specific

It is… I was at our local Coles an hour ago and they were not reduced.

  • Mmmmm, prime chorizo in cider. Oh yeah!

    • Do you just pop it into the bottle ?

      • Think double entendre?

  • They sell them per sausage and not by the kg normally?

    • Yes, they started doing this last year sometime… They do it with the Don kabana too…

    • You can usually get 8 sausages per kilo though roughly

      • I bought 2 primo chorizo from woolies yesterday, just looked in the fridge and they worked out to be $2.75 for the two. so coles normally being $3 each is pretty expensive.
I notice up at coles noosa, even olives are per container - a pain cos I dont usually want a full container, just a big spoonful (half a container). I dont buy them from Coles becuase of this.
Individual pricing and not per kg mostly works out more expensive thats why Coles does it.

I stopped buying primo chorizos at Coles since they started selling them by unit. Woolies still sell them by kilogram.

  • For anyone confused when searching, it's Central West Shopping Centre in Braybrook. Hasn't been called Central West Plaza in years, though the blue road signs pointing towards it still call it Plaza.

BTW, it's the only Coles I've seen where the liquor department is instore & just another aisle, normally they are a separate, attached Liquorland.

Caroline Springs Coles has the liquor in store also
