Does anyone know if it's possible to Chromecast the AFL app to your TV? I won a free subscription for this years AFL season and wanting to watch games on the 'big screen' instead of my phone. If it is possible I'll be watching OzBargin for a cheap Chromecast deal :)

I've used Airplay from an ipad before with varying results. Sometimes is not actually too bad - other times unwatchable.
I can only get sound and no picture
My free subscription came through today, and looks great on the 8" tablet, think it will be a bit iffy on the 55" inch which Ill test tonight.
Over the course of the year I won't be relying on this to watch too many games via this anyway, so as long as I can use it when I need it it should do the job.
some of the newer model phones (sony z3, samsungs) have cast screen from mobile or tablet to chrome cast
the quality is not that good though

Agree with Gecko - the resolution is appalling. It's really not worth it.
It's not worth it.
The resolution is so, so terrible that you can hardly see anything.
