can anybody help with information on how to cancel a Snap Fitness membership(for my wife)?
The contract she signed hasn't got any info on how to terminate a membership & their website just gives you how to join.

yes it is,when signing up you might just think it's a direct debit form, but it is a contract.
from the contract
"MONTH-TO-MONTH MEMBERSHIP.This agreement is a legally binding obligation for which I am financially responsible.I agree if I fail to pay when a payment is due that I mustimmediately pay the entire amount owing.""On further reading through the payment authorisation details it states a written notice of cancellation of membership to club is needed.
Sorry I didn't read through more throughly. It not in a obvious place and our copy of contract is faded and hard to read.
ThanksI dont understand peoples need to go around the source, call the gym and find out directly
Well, with something like this I would guess it is because they think the 'source' would either lie to them or try to find ways to make it difficult to cancel.
Just my 2cin my case I'm doing this for my wife.I looked at website but there isn't any info,I also work long hours and am not available when there are staff members present at club,so I thought sombody here might know the process.
PS my wife is very timid so would rather keep paying $22.50 per fortnight rather than try to cancel membership face to faceNot sure about your snap branch but when my partner wanted to change over to another gym, he just told them it was nearer to him and cheaper and he had already signed up with them. They were really nice and did not make it difficult for him or even try to persuade him to stay.
Tell your wife that!:) (I'm timid too so I understand).
If youre still within your contract period you need to pay on the rest of the contract, if its over, just 2 weeks notice.
However i think if you can provide a medical reason you cant go to the gym, they may waive the balance.Perhaps you can sell the membership to a friend/relative?
Just go to the gym during staffed hours and let them know. We just had a Snap membership cancelled a few weeks ago. Your wife probably has to do it herself though, if you can't leave work early to go with her (latest they close for our branch is about 7.30pm only).
Assuming when you said you work long hours it's later than 7.30pm on weekdays and longer than half-day Saturdays.
thanks I din't realise staff were there that late,I will be able to go down with her next week.
Better check the hours of your gym online but that's the staffed hours of all the 24hr gyms around my area.
Was it actually a contract? I always thought all you needed to do was call them and give them two weeks notice?
