they all instock, its a delivery deal, not click and collect

  • thanks for posting, I missed the last deal so this is perfectly timed.

  • Is that expensive for the charger???

  • DS @ rhodes got nothing!
they never have any bargains in their store.

This sale is online only. I have added that now to the description.

  • Just an FYI, I am able to select Click n Collect by creating a new account and paid by credit card.

    • This workaround doesn't seem to work.

  • delivery gets higher when you buy > 8 items it seems.

Which charger is the better one to buy? This will be my first time getting eneloop. Thanks

Definitely get a smart charger that charges each battery individually according to the level of charge in the battery.

The quick charger mentioned in this deal (Panasonic BQ-CC16) is a smart charger - it's full name is Smart and Quick charger.

Dumb chargers such as the Panasonic BQ-CC17 and BQ-CC18 charge on the basis of time only. Not only are they slower, they will shorten the life of your batteries.

      More info on Panasonic chargers

Some people invest in advanced smart chargers such as the La Crosse BC-700, but this would only be worthwhile if you had lots of batteries - overkill for your first Eneloop purchase.

Thank you for your advice. I'm mainly using the batteries to power up my son's Thomas trains so I don't think I would need many. I like the sound of the quicker charger so will just purchase those. Thank you

Bummer I just got the slow charger and was excited until now :(

  • I hope they replenish store stock eventually

  • After reading so much about these batteries (and the smart charger) I purchased the 4pk charger.
Selected Click & Collect as well, so saved on postage.
    Cheers.

  • $12.49 for a 4 pack of the Jap made AA isn't too bad. Then wander down to Masters for another lowly 10% off!

  • Cheers OP. Deal still available for me. Got the charger, AA and AAA for under $70 delivered.

  • Not expired yet. Cheers, OP. Got the charger and Tropical. Used Woolies card bought with 5% discount for additional savings :-).

  • For those of yiu that are costco members, I Saw a set with charger, 8 aa and 4 AAA batteries for about $38 in Ringwood.

  • Charger now $65 and choc 8 packs $55.

Thanks Dick for making us feel better about our purchases on this deal by blowing out the prices for at least one day after the sale.
