So, I've just seen somebody post up the 8.4inch samsung tablet for ~$400 as a bargain. I am aware there are ways you can get the 4g tablet for about that price.
1st method is if you are on the myplan plus with Optus. If you aren't you can always upgrade to it at no cost. You can add a data sharing sim to your plan with payment over time for the tablet. Costs with that will amount to $5 as a once off cost and $20 ongoing cost for 24 months. That equates to $485.
2nd method is just applying for a month to month data plan with the tablet as an addition. This would be for those who are not with Optus or not on plan with Optus. The lowest data plan is $5/month for 100mb. With adding the tablet onto the plan, it's still $20/month until you decide to cancel which would presumably happen after the first month. If we do it that way, it's the same cost as the 1st option as long as you cancel after the first month.
