  • What's the start and end date for the offer?
I can't read the small font in this picture: http://www.7eleven.com.au/uploads/shared/banners/6f7df582c88…

I could be wrong too but it looks like 05/03/15 to 16/03/15 to me.

      • It actually says 13/03/15 to 16/03/15, I think.

  • How on earth is this possible?

  • +4

    might be:
    - marketing fail , should be buy 2 get one free
    - price changed, each cost 10 bucks each
    - all close to out of date, trying to get rid of stock
    - actually really awesome pricing!

    • +2

None of that is in play, went to 7-11 this morning and they have signs up and the guy mentioned it on walking in.

  • This is outrageous!

  • I took up the offer this morning

    • But it says the offer starts on 05/03 above. So you saying started today?

      • There's a photo on Facebook of the promo in store @ Canberra a couple hours ago.

        • +2

I love people who take photos of things like this that still don't include details we need

  • Starburst 180gm can be had @ Woolies / Coles for $1.50.

How much are they @ 7/11?

    • 4 or 5 bucks I'd imagine.

  • +1

This is just evil for the waistline - people go to the counter to buy a snickers and walk out with a triple serving!

  • +4

    • North Sydney includes beef pies in this deal.

  • How much does the Oak milk cost?

    • +2

No more than $4.50 according to the post above. The pie was probably $4.50. My guess is the milk is around $3.80.

    • $4.50

      • Cool. Three milks for $1.50 each is a good price.

  • +2

I wish this was for Ben and Jerry's.

    • Or the krispy kremes! 3 glazed donuts!

  • +3

This is definitely real- managed to get a Snickers and 2 packs of lollies for $4.10. Promotional period is from 3/3-16/3 while stocks last.

    • that's pretty good
snickers are around 1.50 on special, and starburst around 1.5 on special too

      so for 4.1 that's a bargain

      • +2

        Yep. expensive at normal price.
but $1.067 each is pretty good.

        • +1

wow had no idea it cost so much in 7/11. Good to know, thanks

  • Seems the promotion is due to large amount of expiring stock.

Got some mother drinks which were made pre November and expire this month.

    • +5

That's a long bow to draw. I picked up an Oak, Twisties and Starburst and none of them are short dated. More than likely it is just a loss leader to get people in to the stores.

      • Suggesting 7 Eleven are making a loss here is also a pretty long bow to draw.

        • +6

YAAAAY! I earnt my commentator badge with an underhanded quip. Thank you, OzBargain.

    • I got two packs of Starburst that expire in December and next January. My Snickers expires in July.

    • how much did it cost?

    • Noticed that all mother i bought were short dated. So i went to exchange them for others. And noticed that they even have expired ones on the shelves.

    • You must have gone to a badly run store. I once bought an expired Sprite Zero that was out of date by 2 days. The guy at the counter apologised went to the fridge and checked dates. Removed expired stock (about 3 bottles) and gave me one that was not expired.

When I asked him who was going to be paying for the bottle I had opened he said Coke replaces the expired stock at their cost. It should be the same for mother.

  • +1

Perhaps.. Though I was disappointed to find the mother competition had ended 4 months ago

    • +2

You pay for 24/7 convenience. These 3 for 1 prices are still great though!
