[iOS] Data Widget FREE. Was $2.49

160

Free every month or so for a few days AppShopper.

Great app, I refer to the automatically updating widget often to track my usage. Easy to set up. Is quite accurate against Telstra's usage.

The first iOS data widget, a single swipe is all!
It takes a creative design named double progress, which brings time and data in one simple diagram. You can see all at a glance .
Compatible with all carrier networks!
Real-time monitoring,history.
Green App: no consumption data, no GPS, no ads

Requires iOS 8.0 or later.

Expiry date is a wild guess. It's likely to be two days, not seven. Get it now!

  • Hmm I will give it a go again. Last time it didn't update automatically

    • For me, once you flick down the today notification centre it initiates a refresh and takes less than 1 sec (iPhone 6+, latest iOS and app version).

  • FYI:needs iOS 8 to run and reviews are not promising…I think I'll stick to my iOS 5.1.1 and pass this bargain.

    • +1

      Still rocking a 3GS?

      • Ipad 3(the new Ipad) :)

  • Is it still the case that iOS has no way of disabling 3G/4G data after you hit a specified download limit? It has been a while since I had an iPhone and one of the reasons I would never go back.

    • Correct. Fortunately Telstra send me a text when I get to my last 5MB.

      • I wouldn't be happy with that. What if you are downloading a file bigger than 5MB or even just watching a youtube video. Better than nothing though I guess.

        • It's quick and accurate and I usually know if I'm getting close and will be less likely to watch YouTube etc (or if I really want to, I buy more data).

  • I found Data Widget the best of all the data monitoring ones I tried, sometimes slightly under the usage Vodafone says but always close enough to prevent any nasty bill shock.
