Okay, Not Really Sure Where to Start Here, If Its Confusing i apologize.
Currently, i own a online game store, and when i was trying to sleep last night (stupid brain) i had a bit of an idea, It's Similar To Lootcrate and Box 51 but its not the same, as they deal with Merchandise and stuff where i will be dealing with actual Pc games (cd Keys).
So Like Lootcrate, You Would Sign up for a Monthly subscription, to receive a bundle of CD Keys According to the set theme for the month, They Will be Full Games Like Assassins creed, battlefield, sims, dead space, mass effect, ect.. Each Box Will Contain 2-6 Games (Depending on the game) there will be no Indie games unless the theme for the month is Indie Related in Which 6-8 Games will be included, but As well as the Games you get some bonus item (merchandise) related to a game in the bundle or the theme. But Thats Not All, Each Much Subscribers will be put in the draw to Win either a new release/pre-order game or a Piece of Merchandise Valued at $50+.
This was just an idea i had, i think it could work if enough where interested in it, the value of the box would be well worth the subscription price (100% Promise)
So any input, ideas, changes, criticism is more then welcome!
Thank You!
Sounds like a nice idea in theory, but the reality is that I usually have a couple of games that are on my wish list that I'm monitoring for price drops (usually on Steam Wishlist, or just casual browsing on the GameDeals reddit page).
So I'm not very likely to subscribe to a random smattering of games that I may not be interested at all — it'll just end up in my Great Steam Library, unplayed and untouched until the end of time (or when Valve goes bankrupt, whichever comes first).
Also, there's a strong likelihood of duplicates — if I subscribe to your 'lootcrate' of games, there's a high probability I may get a game that I alraedy own. What am I going to do with the dozens of un-redeemed games if your lootcrate happens to be all dupes?
