HI fellow OZB, I'm just wondering if there's a place here in Melbourne I can buy some chili leaves?
It's mainly use an ingredient for a particular dish. Any suggestions will be helpful..
Thanks!

Lol,, i should've thought about that..
As long as you don't mind eating chemicals. The plants at nurseries are forced, by whatever means it takes, and some of the products they use are definitely NOT fit for human consumption. By the time you have it planted and growing in your garden all that would have had time to leach or grow-out, but newly-arrived in Bunnings, I don't think I'd be doing it.
or u can go to footscray.. they sell it pretty cheap anyway…
So Footscary market have it? Pity that i live in the northern suburb but thanks for the info..
They sell it in packets for $1 ish. You can chuck it in the freezer if you don't use all of it.
Whereabouts is that??are you referring to Footscray market as well?
I'm referring to malaysian/indo grocery shops that I've purchased from in Kingsford NSW. I would assume they would have it in Melbourne malaysian/indo shops (not viet), given the asian presence there. The leaves are not fresh but dried from Indonesia, so this depends if it suits your dish.
How many do you need? If it's only a couple you could probably pick some up discreetly from Bunnings.
