    Sounds good - but I'd find it hard to use half the beans given the different finishes applied to the beans. :-(

    How come milk coffees are bean blends? Do you need a certain type or roast. Just after some education here.

    I bought your last deal so don't need any atm.

      There are different categories for both single origin milk based and blend milk based. These particular blends are targeted for all round use for our cafes but predominantly towards milk based coffees.

      Single origins coffees carry more unique flavours according to their region and processing method etc but can have varying characteristics and different degrees of acidity or body. The idea of a blend is to use different beans to bring the best aspects from different coffees.

      Roasters will often blend multiple coffees to achieve this. ie a bean with a good acidity to cut through the milk, beans with good body and and beans with the particular flavour characteristics that they want to convey in the cup.

      How they are roasted also plays a vital role in the end result and effects much body acidity and different flavours that you want to highlight in the coffee.

    any chance of splitting the light and dark roasts.
    I drink long black from an aeropress and only want the light roasts.

      Sorry but not on this one. The light roasted coffees are also much more expensive beans. if you leave a note in Paypal then I can try to assist by substituting with other lighter roasted coffees that i have available at the time but can't offer any guarantees.

      I do have some suitable ones at the moment though :-)
