Just ask yourself the following questions:

Would you like to have silver eyes?

Can you see really well in the dark?

Do you like beating people and aliens?

Even if you said no to all the above you need to buy this game,

Good reviews and graphics for an old game - 2009. DRM free which is a plus as the DRM was draconian only allowing 3 installs. This game does not really go on sale so i snapped at this for less than $6. Works with 360 controller and may need some tweaks to get the best out of it on a modem system.

    I wonder who thought this was a good idea. It's like they wanted potential customers to pirate their games.

    This game is one of my all time favourites! Great melee combat system, fun stealth, nice graphics, cool storyline, excellent voice acting, and MECHS! This also includes the original version, Escape From Butcher Bay. Great work to the OP for the additional product info.

    For those unaware, Assault on Dark Athena includes a HD remake of the 2004 hit Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay with significantly overhauled visuals/sound (created from scratch; instead of higher-res textures) as well as the new sequel campaign involving the Dark Athena that takes place after Riddick leaves Butcher Bay and a multiplayer component.

    The first game is heavily stealth-action based, the second is far more of an action-heavy FPS.

    Like all remakes though; something had to be screwed up. The first user review on Dark Athena's GOG page outlines a few minor issues with the release of Butcher Bay.

    Picked this game up thinking it would be OK and ended up thinking it was fantastic.

    Kind of thought the price would be lower than it is but if you've got $5 to drop on a game I can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

    A game that deserved more recognition than it got IMHO.

      It's actually $5 for 2 games since it includes an HD remake of the original game.

    Great game, played it recently… and finally re-watched (properly) Chronicles Of Riddick Extended.

    LOVE the whole series, concept.

    It's SciFi, flaws are to be expected/accepted.
