Brisbane Home Show - Thursday - Sunday - Pre Purchase Tickets for $12 (25% off)

FBVIP15

Stumbled across this promotion code to get price down from $16 to $12 online. ($20 at door).
Really hoping for lots of negs because you can tell me how to get tickets cheaper!??! :)
I thought free would be nice. Shouldn't the exhibitors have lots of free tickets to give away??

I've never been to a home show. I absolutely despise paying someone for the privilege of having them try to sell me really expensive stuff. Time share companies give me a free holiday or a dvd player - what's wrong with home shows!!??

But I need a new kitchen, a new bathroom, a new front yard, hmm and a new backyard and 2 sides… I think I should just move…

  • went to last years as I got free tickets from a deal on ozb. For free I would go again, but I would not pay even a $1. If you need a kitchen then you need to identify if it will be a full custom or a 'kitchen connection' standard? local paper has local cabinet makers who can come over, do a 3D proposal and a quote. As for bathroom, choose your fixtures from some bathroom outlets near the slacks creek area.. eg BDW, Farley, etc

  • Never understand why they charge people to enter these types of things. It's like making you pay to enter woolies or coles so can buy your groceries.

    • Agreed, also here in Brisbane they have a farmers market on Sundays for which they charge an entry fee!

      • -1

Yeah like $2. Get over it. Rent, insurance, cleaning staff, security, traffic controllers etc. are expensive. If the whole cost was lumped on market sellers it wouldn't be profitable for them and the markets wouldn't exist at all.

        • Which stall is yours PT?

        • @TightBottom:
Ha! I just think of things outside my bubble. Try it sometime.

        • That makes no sense. If they didn't charge buyers, people would come and buy, sellers make enough profit to pay for rent, insurance, cleaning staff, security, traffic controllers etc. That's the way almost all business works, except the brisbane markets and the birsbane home show and I'm sure some other poorly designed business plans

        • @SlickMick:
The few times I've been, it's always busy. A quick Google also revealed they've been in business for 150 years. They seem to be doing fine without your ignorant advice.

Eat Street is another market that charges $2 entry. Which I'm sure you've at least heard off, considering it's extremely popular atm. Unless you living under a rock.

  • Sadly there will be plenty of people north of Brisbane looking for a new home #cyclonemarcia

  • Use the promo code RACQ15 for a 50% discount ie. $10 each, hope that's not too late for some.
