HDMI Splitter/Switcher

Not exactly sure if there is a difference between a Splitter and Switcher but my crap old TV only has one HDMI input so I need something that I can use so that I can plug in 2 devices (so I don't have to keep removing one to use the other device - hope that makes sense).

Don't need anything too fancy just something that will work. Had a look on ebay and I am wondering if that's the best place to get one. What kind of price should I be paying?

edit: so apparently I need a switcher.

    TVs have inputs. I originally read your post as you were wanting a device to duplicate the source to drive two targets at the same time, e.g. a TV and a projector. That would be a splitter. One that cycles between different sources would be a switcher.
