A decent deal for anybody looking for a basic PS3 and doesn't want all those old games that come packaged with other deals.

I'm pretty sure that David Jones advertised this bundle at the same price about a week or so ago. (Handy if you don't have a local Big W with helpful staff)
$498 isn't bad. I think most retailers are doing this price/deal…
How much did the 250GB version go for. Do they have it?
Uncharted 2 is like playing a block buster movie. There are laughter, tears, betrayal action. It is really really good.
It was brilliant. Definitely shows the power of the PS3. Metal Gear Solid 4 was another example, but Uncharted 2 actually involves you with the cut-scenes. They're making a movie about it too. Let's hope Nathan Fillion plays the part (play the game and you'll see what I mean).
How is this a bargain?
I thought it's pretty easy to find a PS3 plus a game for $500 these days?
Uncharted 2 is a brand new top game so it is a bargain
this isn't as good a bargain as the DSE deal
Like I said, some people are just looking for a PS3 for a good price. Most other bundles are similarly priced but include old games like Assassin's Creed, Modern Warfare, H.A.W.X. or selected platinum titles. This package has none of that redundent stuff. I myself have all 3 of those games on PC.
Also, most other bundles that include Uncharted 2 are for the newer 250GB PS3, which jacks up the price to $550-$600. A lot of gamers don't need the extra 130GB HDD space.
A good deal… but what happened to those DSE deals with 2 good games and a PS3?
