Cadbury Favourites 800g Was $30, Now $7.50 at Woolworths Leura NSW

140

Large 800g box of Favourites at Woolies Leura NSW.
I thought this was a good deal at $15 post Xmas, but $7.50 is a ripper. Works out under $10/kg.
Note it is Xmas promo stock so may not be widely available, but I think the "Special" tag suggests it will be the same price at other locations where stock remains. Half a dozen left at Leura after I got 3.
Best Before June 2015.

  • I just bought a box yesterday thinking it was discounted but checked the receipt and was stung for $15! It's time to get my rage on and a refund.

Why would you need to get your rage on? If you paid $15 for it, have the receipt and haven't opened the box, they will refund it for you.

I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that if the ticket price is lower than what you were charged, they refund them AND you keep the box of chocolates regardless of whether they are open or not (consumer law from memory). If you bought multiple packs then they refund the first pack, you keep that, but for every other pack you get charged the correct price and keep them, or you can return them for a full refund, but the first one is always free.

        • Correct ✔

        • Yep, if the ticket said $7.50 and you are charged $15 then you would be entitled to the refund and the item as well!

@padfoot07: Haha crazy, just happened to read this deal this morning and these comments, then went to Coles this arvo and grabbed some Oral B head replacement, they were advertised in special for ~$17.50 but scanned at $25 and pointed it out to the self service guy.

He said I can go and double check it which I did, took a photo to show him but he didn't even worry about looking at it and I thought he'd just reduce the price down to what it's advertised, but he ended up putting it through for free. Had been putting off getting replacement heads for it as they're so expensive, but getting it for free I can't complain ;-)

Buy a box @7.50 and return it with the $15 receipt…job done.

Edit. The original box would be opened by now

  • Half a dozen left at Leura after I got 3.

    "Half a dozen left" = insufficient quantity…

Many Jews supported Hitler some even joining the SS, The Age had some tv special on this on their site recently if I recall correctly, you won't hear about this at the Holocaust museum.

you won't hear about this at the Holocaust museum.

might just wait until Tony Abbott writes a book about it then…

    • As stated in the post, I believe it will be discounted at other stores too, and the first comment confirmed it.

      • xmas stock would be pretty scarce by now

  • Was just at woolies cecil hills, ticket price still $15. Had plenty left.
