Looking to purchase an Ultrabook or notebook (ultrabook preferably) for around $800. Mainly be using it for university work. Will do programming work so a good processor would be recommended, i5 or i7. At least 4gb ram, and 750-1tb HDD. Integrated graphics will be fine. Also a screen size of 13.3" or 14".

you'll usually be able to snag a dell latitude e7240 off the dell outlet for under $800, and that's a great ultrabook (especially for the money).

As far as im aware, you won't get an ultrabook with a hdd (unless it's a hybrid). Ultrabook's use ssd's so generally have smaller capacity (most commonly 128 and 256GB). Depends if you want to buy new or used. I have a Dell XPS 13 (2012 model, i7, 256GB, 4GB RAM) that cost me around $1200 at time of purchase. I think they go for around $600 used nowadays and quite easily handles most tasks (low RAM can be a problem at times).

Refurbished Macbook Air. Uktrabooks don't exist at that price level.
In any case, get an ssd inside your laptop. For 99% of your day, it will make more of a difference than an i7.
