Cheapest way to get FoxSports HD

Hi, I'm not a big TV watcher, but once a fortnight I watch the Formula One, and with the surprise announcement of the new FoxSports F1 deal Im in need of an ability to watch live F1. One of my biggest bug bears with channel 10 was that many races where shown in SD, so I'll need to get an HD broadcast or stream. Having never had a need for Foxtel before, can you tell me what the cheapest way to get FoxSports HD is? My parents have it, but pay way over $130 a month for everything., and I don't want to spend that kind of money.

    Ooh I didn't know we were finally getting an F1 channel here - will this be just a rebroadcast of Sky Sports F1? Also interested in how I can get this channel!

    Get the PC app, log in as your parents, watch for free. That is the cheapest. Quality is not HD though.

    Foxtel Sports combo (with HD channels) is only $60 a month.

        I agree. I don't want to have to pay $60/month for two events a month. I have no interest in any of the other sports. I hate how they make you pay for a whole sports package when all you really want is one channel.

          Yep, I feel exactly the same. I have zero interest in motogp, v8 supercars or indy cars. Maybe sports cars, but that is it.

    The only way I'll ever get Foxtel is if they allow me to subscribe for supercheap and then add what I want, with the option to purchase additional one off series/shows/movies. $25 for all the crap channels is a farce.

    Call up, enquire about prices for the Sports HD, and when they give you the stock standard quote decline and hang up. With any luck they'll call you back a day or two later and offer you a better deal.
