I've been searching for SSD and until yesterday they were selling the same thing for $349.99 USD + shipping but today when I checked it's down to $289.99 USD + shipping.

I think this is the cheapest you can get!

One of the best rated SSD.

I don't know how long it will last so don't miss your chance.

Works out around $374AU delivered for those interested. It has been $369AU recently several times locally and staticice says local stock starts at $400ish. So it's an OK price, nothing amazing.

Also, nothing really is differentiating SSDs for home users anymore. Any of the current generation will be amazing and none have a significant advantage over any other (e.g. MX200, 850 Pro, 850 Evo, etc) so it's probably not even worth spending the extra on the 850 Pro unless you have a specific reason to buy it.

  • Price difference between importing and buying local isn't enough to justify it.
850 PRO have 10 year warranty. Therefore if you're importing, better check if warranty would still apply and you can get it replaced in Australia.
Previous cheapest was from Massa Technology at $369 delivered. He offered the deal twice.

However, he didn't accept anything other than bank deposit.

    • would have been OK with paying 2% on top of the sales perice, to take care of the Paypal fee

    • Amazon currency converter is a ripoff. Best to use your cc conversion.

  • This is a lot cheaper than 840 Pros which hovered around the $1/gb mark for a long time.
