  • The dark knight is listed for 19.95!

  • Didn't get a confirmation email after registering & when I add the movies to my cart they don't have the special price.

  • Hi Shaun1,

Edit: Shaun, I found your username, your login is now enabled. Plesae read below for the pricing query.

With the prices you have to select 'pre-order now' as those prices begin Nov 4. If you select 'Add To Cart' it adds it at the current price.

    My email is [email protected]

    • Ahh ok thanks! Also, what region are the Bluray movies?

      • -1

All are from the major Australian Distributors, meaning Region 4. There might be the odd one labelled as Region 0, but even those are supplied from the likes of Warner, Fox etc. These are the same discs you can pick up from any retailer in Australia.

        • +1

Shouldn't that be Region B? Numbers were used to region-code DVDs, otherwise thanks.

          • @ozgamer: yep, you are correct, was thinking in DVD terms when I posted.

        • What a great system, so know I can't but christmas presents for friends in the UK, USA.

          You guys suck.

I will never buy blu-ray or dvds for this reason. Unfair controls.

          • @cakesy: There are region free Blu Rays as well. And you do have plenty of choice.
Now, a few Blu Ray players are region free ( either modded or using a remote code hack).

Region locking is done by the distributors, so that they do not have to compete with other distributors in a cheaper region etc.
Also, movies are released at different countries at different times, so they want to lure people to the cinema etc.

Anyway, you would be happy to know that things are changing,
But on the other hand, if you do NOT even buy DVD, then all this is useless.
What do you do if you want to watch movies?
I guess a stroll to the local cinema and not download pirated movies!
            Cheers,

  • Blurays are so fetch.

  • Pity they only accept CC.
