    I was at Chermside today and literally the only store I did not look was David Jones.

    Would would beat it? Office works doesn't seem to stock the top end iPad Air 2, and Apple stores would at best match it. And apparently only if it's "advertised".

  That is indeed cheaper, but I don't know if $4 would compel me to add the difficult of shipping (I work all day every day except for Sunday). Indeed even the $8 on top of that to get it at the Apple store is tempting in terms of having nobody but Apple to deal with. 5% would get me buying elsewhere, and the relatively frequent 10% deals would be ideal, unfortunately I just missed the Myer offer.

  Seems like none of the cheapest prices offer pick up which is strange given that they all have stores. Guess they don't keep stock.
  Don't know about Good Guys since their website seems to be down at the moment.

  Has anyone been inshore at David Jones and seen them for $999?

    David Jones' electrical section is 'powered by' Dick Smith.

    Tricky's has them for $999, so you could go there, or DJs to get them for that price.

    If I were you though, I'd show the link above to the Apple Store and get them to match it, as there are a few advantages to buying direct from them.

      That's perfect. Only thing I'm worried about is the fact that it's pre-order so the Apple Store may argue that there is no stock and therefore nothing to match.

  I bought the iPad Air 2 64GB at the Apple Store recently. The only problem was it was school holidays and the shop was full of ankle biters. I bought there because everywhere else I called had no stock. Also not all DSE and Officeworks stores sell Apple.
