    I love this game!

For anyone wondering about Australian servers, there's one called "AussieNZ" that gets completely filled nearly every night and has squads/commanders working together. "Games.on.net" also runs a server that gets populated during the day and completely filled at night if you're after a more relaxed time. A community of only 2-3 servers might be small but because the gameplay is unique, most players are dedicated and will stick around for the years to come.

    TLDR, multiplayer isn't dead.

      Seconded!

      The website is http://www.aussienzro2.com.au/forums/

The community is second to none; there are some seriously awesome people on it. Also the server is moderated, which keeps the crap in check.

Plus this game is far, far better than COD/BF. It is grittier, more realistic and harder, which gives a greater sense of satisfaction when you get good at it. Yes there are some bugs, but overall it is a much more fun gaming experience.

  • Double checked before I buy and didn't even know I already had it!

Yes, after I started playing RO back in ~2005 iirc, I couldn't play BF or CoD any more.
However I stopped playing RO2 about two years ago because I'm just too busy to play ANY games at all.
Might try to get back into it once a week.
If you need just one game to to vent some violence on the world, RO is the best.
