To remove the ads and get full scheduled blocking, hidden icon, exception list and password protection, go to the settings, 'Promo Code' and enter 'appoftheday'. After clicking OK the app should restart itself.

Disabling message bank works for me… If it's urgent/important and I miss the call, they can SMS me.
True, but with Blacklist, you can stop messages just from 'Private Callers'.
Does anyone know why some large organisations hide their phone number?
A friend of mine works at a car company. His call always shows 'private number' when he calls me using his office phone.
Some companies use a compressed digital phone system where the call may have a virtual extension only. Not unlike some similar to Skype. There may be many reasons, like minimising inbound calls to the company. Perhaps these calls cost employee time to follow up, unless about official company business?

You can block calls in Contacts App in Android.
Of course that is a pretty basic blocker.
This can block all private calls, etc.
