However, this deal is for brand new ukulele stock and also includes bags and tuner. That particular product on offer is an end of line product.

Before you go on about that kmart has ukuleles for $26 then let me explain that the kmart Ukuleles are small sub-soprano size baby ukulele toys and not musical instruments, sometimes plywood but most often plastic with plastic strings. The kmart products are toys, which is fine for a 2 year old. This product is totally different and is a musical instrument.

I added a video on how to learn to play the ukulele in minutes which will get you started. It says learn to play in 5 minutes, which is true for very basic strumming, but it probably takes a day for your first basic variations, which is a more realistic time frame. Something different to do on a lazy Sunday:

    Excellent deal, and an informative post. I bought a toy uke for my daughter a few years ago, but it was impossible to tune: if you tuned one string correctly, the neck warped enough that the other strings went out of tune. This Leilani looks a lot better.

    I picked one of these up last time and the instrument looked beautiful, but didnt stay in tune very well (as noted by uke teacher), and then the bridge came unstuck. I was a little disappointed with the customer service when I called for advice. In the end purchased a new uke from a different source and haven't looked back.

      OK, took a while, but code is CLEARANCE all upper case.
      Worked for me anyway.
