1600p is much more than the 1080p of my TV. If you are running a 4K TV setup maybe you should not skimp too much on cables.

i think so but check your specs on your TV, most TV arent as high rez as monitors
It will also be HDMI v2 compatible. The cables are the same it's the devices that are different. There are four types of cable: hi speed, low speed, with or without Ethernet.

HDMI revision numbers are irrelevant for cables, a High Speed HDMI will support all current formats including 1080p, 3D and 4K.
The Ethernet over HDMI feature is useless on cables as no devices support this feature.
