A few years too late perhaps?

    • It is for me! One of the only zelda games that I never finished…. Still on my to do list though!

      • It will be my chance too. I never own an N64 so I missed out on this and OOT. I had the games on GC, but couldn't play it because I hated the controls. The game wasn't designed for the GC controller.

I had the ROM to play on PC as well, but again, I didn't have a controller that could simulate an N64 controller. As a matter of fact, I've never seen a controller like a N64 controller. A controller with analog stick and 6 face buttons.. there aren't any.

This time they're made with the 3DS controls in mind. And the graphics are updated a little. I loved OOT, so I expect to enjoy this.

I can see how fans might collect these things but never seen practical value in them especially since the internet started providing the same information for free..

    • Not to mention that the cost is abusrd. $30? I'd expect a quality hardback for that price. Strategy guides used to be $24 tops, with a lot of them priced around $15.95-$19.95.

The hardcover ones have resale value. If you wait long enough.

Books are still a thing. It's nice having to have information in front of you that you can physically flip without loading times and staring at a bright screen. And if you can't afford $30 you should probably get a job.

      • it's still quicker searching on the net vs using a book… im sure people will be playing along a youtube video nowadays, who still uses text guides

        • Depends. If you are playing a PC game, you will either need a second monitor, or a second device (laptop, tablet) to play while gaming. Or you can alt tab a lot. Not ideal.

If you're playing in front of a TV, same problems. With a book, it's right in front of you. All you need is a desk.

Having said that, books can be annoying to keep open, especially if you're in the early parts of the book. It will keep trying to shut itself. When you get to mid way, the problem is lessened, but as you get to the end, it will happen again. You can reduce this by bending the covers back, but that damages the book (especially paperbacks).
