I am looking to get window tinting on my new Subaru Forester 2014.
- Please recommend a good place to get it done around Sydney
- Please advice what is the best value tint product to choose
I want the colour to be the same tone as the privacy glass on the back with a lot of heat filtering. Will probably go for 35%.
The car has privacy glass on the back so I am mostly interested in:
2x front side windows, including small quoter windows where the mirrors are.
Also considering, sunroof and top of the front windscreen but only if the price difference will be very small.

You should be aware that the privacy glass on the rear windows is darker than legal and therefore you will not be able to get the front two windows tinted the same darkness.
State regulations vary, but as a rule the front two windows can not be tinted darker than 35% nor can the rear unless the glass is pre-tinted by the manufacturer. Most major car makers now darken the rear glass darker than is legal had you done it yourself.
I suggest you get 35% from somewhere reputable but my suggestion to you is to avoid "tint a car" their film is low grade and they dont offer a very good warranty.
