Trade in Values - Cash Vs Store Credit?

So I'm thinking of trading in a few games that I don't play and I'm debating where to go to trade them in. EB Games gives shockingly low trade in values but they do offer cash (but that's at 80% of the trade in credit which is already low in the first place). JB gives much better values, but they don't do cash. I haven't talked to Cash Converters yet.

What are people's opinions on this?

    Well if you plan to buy something from JB in the future, you may as well get credit.

    What games and how much? You can also trade in for store credit then sell the gift card on ebay or here.

      Carnival Games: Wild West 3D & Freakyforms Deluxe. Got them from Kmart clearance sales (no one seemed to want them).

      EB offering 75c & $4 trade credit (60c & $3.60 cash), JB offering $5 & $10 trade credit, Cash Converters offering $8 for the two of them together in cash.

      I suppose it's a no brainer now but to pick JB (I wrote the post before I went to Cash Converters).

        Definitely. I wouldn't even pay $5 for both.
