Great price for local stock! If only I had a good reason to buy one.

    • +2

Ha, because you need a genuine lightning cable ;-)

      • What's a genuine Lightming cable? Apple owns the connector so is it an Apple cable? If so, these are normally $25 RRP so this is a good price

      • Is this a genuine apple lightning cable?

        • +1

          "genuine imitation apple lightning cable"

        • 100% Genuine apple lightning cable, without retail package

      • Any chance of the Xiaomi Pistons coming on sale?

  • How long does shipping normally take?

    • +1

Ship form Sydney via Australia Post eParcel, so depends on which area

  • Are the lightning cable really genuine? Or like ebay says genuine but not?

    • +1

100% genuine, you have my word :)

    • +1

I suspect it is genuine "MFI" (ie Apple-certified) - the going rate for mfi lightning cables is around the $10 mark so this seems about right.

    • It's genuinely a cable that's for sure.

      • It's an able cable, you might say.

  • +2

Is it possible you could put the Ultra-slim 5000mAh one instead of the 5300mAh one or run a special for it? I'd buy it so fast.

    • +6

Will put the 5000mHa soon on a deal, waiting for new delivery :)

      • How much will it be? I already have the 10400 need a smaller one.

      • I am weighing between 16000mAh or getting two 5000mAh… Could you give us hints on the special price for 5000mAh one?

      • +1

yes please!! 5000 mAh and 10400 mAh combo deal

  • +1

Where are we sending the screenshots for the competition, to your email address?

  • +1

How do you want us to send screenshot to you? Email?

  • +6

Still waiting for the 10400 to come back at $24.95

  • just ordered one. good price.

  • Thank You "mushtato". I missed out on the Xiaomi Power Bank 16000mAh last Deal. I got 2 in this Deal.

    • Good on you, thanks ; )

  • Cheers, just ordered one for my trip to Fiji :)

  • Another deal on Pistons please? My CX300s broke today and looking for a replacement.

  • Does it come with that short normal micro usb cable in the picture?

    • +1

Yep. That how you charge the device.

    • +1

Bought one on previous deal, yeah comes with that cable, 20cm and pretty convenient for Android peeps.

  • +5

    Hay Rep,

    • I would be interested to know this too.

      • +8

What you guys think of one plus?

Like others, prefer Xiaomi instead of OnePlus, don't like the marketing strategy of invite only.

        • @thsydney:

          No invite needed anymore.

        • @superforever: Since when? According to their site it is still required?

        • @superforever:

Got me excited for a second :(

  • Anyone else having issues connecting to the site?

    I keep getting:

    "Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you."

    • It's back on now

  • +1

    ozbargained? website down

    • Its all back on normal now

  • +1

    site down?

    • Back on !

  • Damn, I just bought one of these from you last week! :(. This is a great price.

  • +1

    Site still down :(

    • It's back on now

  • Is this compatible with devices greater than 1 amp for example galaxy s5 I hear the device battery gets bloated

    • Build-in IC auto detect connect device, so yea it's compatible with S5. There' 2 USB output anyway :)

  • +1

Wow, this thing almost doubles the mAh of normal laptop battery.. I wish my macbook could be charged by this somehow..

  • +2

Just in case people were wondering, these things are pretty big in terms of size.

    • +1

Yeah. I went with the 10400mah instead, since I like that it can fit into some pockets.

  • Got one of these a few weeks back, it's quite amazing. It's around about double the length of the 5200mAh, though the same width/height.

Can be quite an annoyance to carry around if you're planning to hold it in your hand, though for in a backpack or for a camping trip it'd be the perfect powerbank.

Hell, do what I did.. Order a 5200mAh for everyday use (only $13.95 extra) and this for camping trips or any other time where for whatever reason you need ~24-48hours of use on even the most power hungry phones. Mine usually keeps my Nexus 4 juiced up for 3-4 days of standard use. (4 days, though i charge my device overnight, but the batteries quite old and struggles to last even an hour.. Factor that in and it's probably around 3.5 days)

  • I don't suppose you'd be selling the 5200mAh as a standalone for $13.95??

    • +1

13.95 is the super special only with purchase of this 16000

  • Been waiting on DX to send me one I ordered from there 4 weeks ago and was told I had to wait another 2 weeks so I just ordered one from here.

  • +1

Thank you for all your supports and patience, website is now back in normal. Sorry for the downtime. I only realized when i about to sleep, then start working on it… Gosh.

  • I can't find Genuine lightning cable 1M +9.95.

  • How long does a full charge last if left off for a week?
Incase of blackouts which are goign on a lil in my area with summer.

    • I have the smaller one and it keeps pretty much full charge for weeks

  • +1

Does anyone know Chinese? Could someone help me verify if the Power Bank I bought is genuine on this site: http://order.mi.com/service/dyscode as I can't enter the captcha as it's in Chinese.

    • +3

Yeah I can do it. PM me the code.

      • PM sent, thanks!

        • +3

          Doooone~~

    • +1

      I can as well

  • been waiting for this for a while… ended up bought it from overseas for 30 bucks….. :( too late..

  • Went to buy, but your https cert is invalid.

    • Seem to be a lot of people here buying from this store but Firefox seems VERY insistent that legitimate online stores won't ask you to deal with uncertified https. Any comments from the rep or other ozbargainers? I would dearly like to participate in this bargain.

      • +1

The issue being Firefox doesn't recognise the Certificate Issuer, which Chrome recognised just fine (screenshot http://cl.ly/ZW5H).

I wouldn't be worrying to much about this since Chrome is ok with it; probably Firefox needs an update on Certificate Issuer Database

        • Thanks for the help.

  • Wish I had held off and bought the mi band from you guys with the power bank instead of banggood's deal last week :(

  • +1

Why is it so hard for this company to get back to Me? I've called them left a message via their website as well as emailesd them directly. I want to make an amendment to my order……

    • i dont think they have store.. so just online store

    • Sorry we've been flat out, all sorted out now.

  • Hmm after reading the reviews etc on this, I think I'll wait for the 10400 to come back on sale.

mainly because I don't really need 2x outputs… and the 10400 is rated at 10400 but this 16000 is rated at 10800 :(

    • But that is only because it's output is 5.1V rather than 3.6V. So with the higher voltage, wouldn't your device charge faster?

    • Not quite sure about 10400 rated at 10400 but 16000 rated at 10800 ?

    • Ahhhh I really need caffine to wake up. I completely overlooked the fact that it's rated at 10800mAh @ 5.1V, whereas the 10,400 version is rated at 10400mAh @ 3.6V.

I suppose really comparing apples to oranges there…

Maybe I will grab one of these haha

I'm concerned though regarding the size. Does anyone have one of these to compare size to an iPhone 6 plus or Galaxy Note 3?

Good review here. At the bottom is says the 1600mah battery has around a 70% discharge efficiency, which is the same as the 10400 one.

    • +1

and the 10400 is rated at 10400 but this 16000 is rated at 10800 :(

Hmm, where you did read that?

All these power banks give the ratings of their 3.7V cells. Of course there are dodgy manufacturers who inflate their ratings. Big-name companies (Xiaomi, Romoss, Sony, Panasonic, etc) don't do that, fortunately.

Once you factor in conversion and efficiency you end up with about 63% the quoted mAh rating.

With technology now, any good 10400mAh power bank will give you around 6500mAh actual capacity.
Similarly, any good 16000mAh power bank now will give you around 10,080mAh actual capacity.

edit: oops, you replied while I was still reading the comments!

  • Rep,
The 5200mah Powerbank is still priced in the basket and the checkout at $19.95 even though the 16000mah is also in the basket. Where does the $6.00 discount get applied?

    cheers

    • +1

add the 5200mah powerbank from the 16000mah power bank page, not seperately as another item.

you will notice on the 16000mah page there are options to buy the 5200mah powerbank and other accessories

      • Thanks :)

      • Thanks aurotaro

  • bought one and the apple cable… now lets see if its legit, especially the cable (ive never seen an official apple cable for less the $25).
Im hoping I can get a decent charge through USB for my jawbone big jambox, although it might take a while to charge, should be interesting nonetheless

    • +1

Cable is 100% genuine Apple lightning cable, doesn't come with retail package, but each has the serial number.

      • I can confirm from previous purchase that the lightning cable is indeed genuine (minus the retail packaging) - charges my iPad Air from the Officeworks deal perfectly!

  • Hi mushtato, emailed you re: Order Confirmation No: 5741, waiting for a reply.

  • OK just ordered one as well. Added the usb to lightning adapter too.

Hope it's as great as the reviews/everyone raves on about :)
