I don't think he's looking for combat boots… but if so, OP check out your nearest surplus store.
In all seriousness, you're not going to get a decent pair of boots (regardless of style) for under $100 unless you wait for a deep seasonal discount, e.g. Amazon or Zappos but 1) online shoe shopping is iffy, 2) shipping may break you.

Seriously though, legear.com.au have some 5.11 brand boots for ~$130. Also, I have gone to their brick's and morter store before and found they are quite willing to negotiate on the price.
