  Awesome game, but sadly the creators chose the freemium path with the release of v2.5. Now has quite a few IAPs (only 8 captured in screenshot).

    True…but still awesome for free!

    Have to slog through some of the levels to earn some gems in game, but have yet to purchase anything extra.

      The pre-'freemium' version for free - yes, awesome.
      Moving the cost to IAP - nothing 'awesome' about it.

    Best tower defence game ever.

    I disagree with the IAP comment. You can easily finish the game in veteran mode without IAP if you got the right strategy. In fact, gems are only needed for the survival mode.

    A plus that they just released a new version of the game with extra 4 stages!

    Interesting, not sure how similar it was with the Android Version, but when I bought it, all the heroes in the game you had to buy except to play them except for 3 which you unlock through playing. Were all the heroes in the game unlockable through play in the iOS version?

      You only get first 3 for free. Again, you don't need any of those heroes to win the game.

        Yes, my bad. I did word it wrong. You don't 'have' to pay for the heroes. I just wondered if they added the extra heroes in v2.5 and gave people the option of buying them.

  Yep great game! The other games that were released after this are fantastic too, money well spent, hours of fun.
