Best Place to Get USD?

There's a big group of us going to Jakarta soon and the visa on arrival is still at USD $35. There was talk of it being abolished but so far it hasn't happened.

Reports from people going to Bali at the moment are saying that if they pay in AUD it's around $50 due to the airport's crappy rates, and because there are 7 of us going it makes sense to get USD here in Australia before we go to save a bit of cash.

Anyone know of any places or deals at the moment that are offering commission free exchange and reasonable rates?

Huh, weird. I thought the VOA was supposed to have ended by now.
You can get US$ at the Post Office with no commission but the rates aren't that fantastic. It also takes a little while.

  It looks like it will never happen if this is the case. There's no way the Australian government will let Indonesian tourists in for free. It's already a nightmare for them to get tourist visas as it is.
