Why WoolworthOnline no longer offer free shipping on purchase $30 or more?

I've been buying from Woolworths every Wednesday, if my order exceed $30 shippping is discounted to zero. I don't know why I can enjoy this general discount, because their website only offer shipping reduction on much larger purchases. This Wednesday I put $150 and still have to pay for shipping (using same account of course), so what changed? (I'll turn to Coles if Woolworth doesn't offer free shipping on $150 order.)

Thanks!

Probably cause they introduced "Delivery Saver" see on that page above… like a subscription service but for deliveries.

I think Dan Murphy is also doing the same thing now too.

  • Thanks. I did check that section. It says: "After adding a Delivery Saver to your trolley and paying the fixed fee at checkout your pass will automatically apply FREE Delivery on all transactions over $100 during the set Delivery Saver period."

So it can't explain why I had been enjoying free delivery for $30+ transactions for a few weeks until recently.

How many free deliveries have you had?

Is this your first time ordering from Woolworths Online? (not sure if it's still the case, but I'm sure it is - it used to be that the first 3 home deliveries for new Woolies Online orders would be free..)

      • I ordered 5 times in total since I register online, and 4 times it would show a delivery fee unless I make order up to $30. The first time I spent $150 and didn't notice if delivery is made free.
