Help Find Cheap Japan Tickets to/from Japan

I know this is quite a rush and I'm not expecting a massive, if not any cheap sales for flying to Japan but I was wondering if you guys can help me out.

I need tickets for 30 Jan - 7 Feb from Gold Coast or Brisbane to Narita "Depends on if one's cheaper than the other". The cheapest I could find was around the $1000 mark with Jetstar, I don't mind paying the price since I have to go but if there are cheaper fairs out there, I guess it would sting me a bit less.

I know I could get $500 fairs when the sales hit but I need to go now :P.

    Same here man. I've been looking for about a month or two but those really cheap fares are normally needed to be booked far in advance. Take the flights now. They'll only go up in price I reckon for those dates.
