Nosefrida the Snotsucker,Amazons best selling baby product for $10

Nosefrida is the best selling Baby Product in the world and has been an Amazon best seller for over 6 years
http://www.amazon.com/Nosefrida-The-Snotsucker-Nasal-Aspirat…

So why is Nosefrida better than other aspirators?
Nosefrida is non-invasive-instead of going inside the nose like the bulb, it forms a seal with the outside of the baby”s nostril(creating a vacuum) Parent powered(mouth) suction is much stronger and effective than the static suction of the bulb or battery powered aspirators.

NoseFrida is also easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and BPA & Phthalate free.

NoseFrida was developed by ear nose and throat specialists over 10 years ago and helps over 500,000 parents each year worldwide.

Used and recommended by Paediatricians, TGA approved in Australia and FDA(Food and drug administration,USA)

Nosefrida is the number one selling Nasal Aspirator Worldwide, it reduces the amount of mucous in the nose. When your baby is congested and they are too young to blow their own nose, Nosefrida helps clear their nose, enabling them to breathe,
feed and sleep easier.

    Nosefrida The Snotsucker

Do you have any Fart Evaporators in stock?

  • +4

"Nosefrida is the best selling Baby Product in the world" - Really?

  • +3

"Parent powered(mouth) suction is much stronger and effective than the static suction of the bulb or battery powered aspirators."

Why use the aspirator at all? Might as well latch on to their nose and go for a good suck, like how a mother bird feeds a baby, only in reverse.

The world needs more people like you…unafraid to take snot head on….I Salute you

    • They feed their babies by their nostrils?

    Is this a joke?

    • Congestion in Children is serious stuff, no room for jokes ..http://www.amazon.com/Nosefrida-The-Snotsucker-Nasal-Aspirator/dp/B00171WXII/

  • Thanks, this can be very useful for newborn babies. Bought one.

Do you have a baby though? Or are you a Paediatrician?

      Used by Paediatricians

I have a 6 weeks old and he is suffering from nasal congestion. A number of people suggested to use nasal aspirators and therefore I was looking for one very recently until I found this one here.

You don't have a baby and therefore you wouldn't understand these. You don't need to criticise everyone here just because you think these isn't useful to you.

        • -1

          You don't have a baby

And how would you know that?

        • +3

@jv: otherwise you would know better these devices. the fact that you are simply criticising everything about this device, I get a feeling that you haven't gone through that phase of life yet!

What makes you think I don't?

simply criticising everything about this device,

Where have I criticised the device?

I bought this in the previous deal, and seriously if you have a new born or are going to have kids this thing is a must.

My wife was sceptical when I bought it, but she is now converted. She loves it more than me haha.

My daughter luckily hasn't been sick often, but she always has a snuffly nose and this with some help of FESS nose spray clears up her nose for easy breathing.

    • +100,
my son has had 2-3 times congested nose, Nosefrida and some saline can do miracles!

  • +1

Found such devices very useful… Baby did not enjoy the process much but really helped clear the nose out, and then they could sleep properly.

  • +1

These are great, after i bought the first one, i kept buying a few others as presents.

  • +1

Yek, using the mouth is hardcore

    • Attach it to your vacuum cleaner

  • I've always wondered if this would be good for when your nasal passages are really congested, if you could use it on yourself.

I'm guessing you're just applying suction and there's no chance of actually getting phlegm into your mouth….if used properly.

Anyone who's used it can comment?

    • +1

Yeah, Theses actually work very well. They are great for what they do. Only problem is that my kid hates it. He gets upset when he sees it because he knows his snot will be getting sucked out.

But they work really well and you dont get snot in your mouth. Thats what the filters are for.

      3436 positive reviews

Umm no, that number is for ALL reviews including the 1 and 2 star reviews which are quite interesting to read. I'd suggest that anyone considering one of these make themselves familiar with what others don't like before purchasing.

      One such example:

I am also one of the many reviewers who is sick (for the second time) with the worst sore throat and lung infection I have had in my adult life. I am certain it is from the snot sucker. The company's website says "Clinical studies have proven that the hygiene filter prevents mucus and bacterial transfer from child to user." Please show me those clinical studies! I tasted mucous get into my mouth. Yes, the product works, but at the expense of my own health. I will be throwing it away.

      • Oh, me too, great product for clearing bubs nose but I also had a severe throat and lung infection after using this product that I couldn't shake for six weeks. Passed it on to my husband as well and we both needed two courses of antibiotics. I have used it since but only when bubs really, really needs it. I change the filters regularly and then gargle antibacterial mouth wash after using it. The things we do for our kids eh!

This product was made by Ear , Nose and Throat specialists in Malmo Sweden to alleviate the symptoms of Bronchitis in Children and has been laboratory tested and proven to stop any infections passing through the tube..you can see these studies on the website http://www.nosefrida.com.a

Further more the overall rating of Nosefrida is 4.5 stars and 2825 positive reviews which is an incredibly high proportion, people will always complain about something, we sell millions each year and receive thousands of positive reviews..

You can also check the Nosefrida.com.au Australian website with has hundreds of positive reviews..

Forr this one example there are 2825 5 star reviews

        328 four star

        120 3 star

        81 2 star
        and 82 1 star

I think the general consensus is its a good product

        • +2

I was just correcting a misleading statement by you that there were 3436 positive reviews when that's clearly not the case.

There's plenty of people that have reported "tasting" things while using it, many of which have fallen ill afterwards including cu2nite above. This could be particularly important to people who are immune-comprimised or become ill easily etc. Perhaps many of those 2825 5 star reviewers have also become ill but don't make the connection to this - no way of knowing.

        • @foobar:

As I have stated it is clinically proven not to transmit bacteria, you will probably find any infection passed would be from handling a child as it is generally used from New Borns through to 3 year olds which require more hands on care.

"I was just correcting a misleading statement by you that there were 3436 positive reviews when that's clearly not the case."

We are very transparent company who sell millions of this product worldwide, this year 1 in every three new borns (100,000 Children) in Australia will be using Nosefrida.. and we stand behind every sale..most of our sales are from recomendations..

        • +2

          @poohah:
"most of our sales are from recomendations"
Then no need for the hard sell.

        • @poohah:

You don't need to convince me so please, stop trying. All this marketing rot means absolutely nothing, I believe all the people that say they have tasted things through the filter, it's not something they'd all be making up and if stuff is getting through the filter then there's a pretty good chance it's making people sick despite the clinical trials.

  • I used to skim over these posts or laugh at the thought of having to suck snot… then I had a baby. Thanks for the post Poohah. Not sure if it's a deal as such, but will be purchasing anyways so my kid can breath better.

    • +1

We retail for $15.95 so its more than a 1/3 off and we ship for free, its a deal…trust me, I'd prefer to get full price but I know you will hopefully recommend this to friends…

    Thhhp thhhp thhhp…

  • We bought a "Snotty One" and it works brilliantly. Can't recommend it to fellow parents enough. (http://snotty.com.au/products/nasal-aspirators/snotty-one)

Granted, it is more expensive (we paid $50 from a local distributor) but it has been a godsend during the flu season. Definitely not a regrettable purchase.

It is a battery operated nasal sucker, so no need to worry about filters or getting snot in your mouth!!

My son started using it on his own when he was around 3 years old, which made life easy on us :)
