Lens is a pretty poor lens and I've a feeling this might be a gray? Been considering a D7100 for a while now and this is rather tempting but will wait for others to chime in first.

I bought a D7100 body only from JB a few of weeks ago for $999 before $100 cash back (price match with PRA Imaging, though they have now put their price up slightly).
Yeah I might hold out for their 15% off weekend on cameras. They did just have that after Christmas but normally rolls around again in February sometime I think.

paid $784.00 AUD after the discount… (body only) then bought 3 separate lenses…
it really is the lens that make these camera.
the kit lens that comes with some (with VR) are decent enough lenses to get you started…(18-55VR)not sure how this one goes though.
now all I need is a wide angle prime lens for decent $$$

Gray. If this isn't gray then its a good deal but I'm guessing it is. Reviews of personal digital seem a bit iffy too.

This setup seems to be $1219 at Kogan, so seems a good price. BHPhoto also have it for just under $1300. Maybe too good to be true?
I would be going the new Samsung NX1 at the moment, it's the hot new item of 2014 and getting awesome reviews with the professionals. High end pprofessional photos at a fraction of the cost, it has Nikon and canon worried. I've just ordered one myself.
