Thought I would ask a question, I think my amp is on its way out, its a Pioneer 7.1 channel, ive tried resetting it to factory or adjusting volumes but seems that its not as strong anymore i have to really turn up the volume for anything decent to come out of it. For those that have pioneer units you know it starts off in a large number for the volume then the numbers get smaller, backwards i knokw, but anyways -18 is what i have to listen to movies, i can fell all the speakers are getting plenty of punch but i've had this amp for years, and i didn't think i had to turn it up that much from memory.
Could it be on its way out, or something that can be cheap to repair, amps are so cheap nowadays.
Running 100w per channel so its a fairly decent kit.
Swap out all cables in the first instance, but it sounds like it could be on its way out.
