  • Not sure if this even counts as a deal. It's more expensive than other sources and the bonuses don't really mean much. Only buy this if you want it on Steam.

It's a really shitty deal and if you care at all about the PC release, PC gaming or gaming at all then you should NOT pre-order.

From a strictly deal perspective, previous GTA titles often go for literally a few dollars off Steam or GMG or the like. The deal for $500k in the Story mode is useless as with a few smart choices (easy to Google a strategy for) you will have billions in the bank, and for GTA online to make $800k (500+300) that would only take a few hours of doing jobs, which you would be doing anyway to rank up.

Now as far as more serious reasons not to do it, lately and in the past few years (GTA IV being a notorious example) game publishers have not put a lot of effort into the release quality of the game because they know that they have already made sales on the Pre-orders and thus there is no incentive other than to release it. By not pre-ordering you are sending a clear price signal that you will only buy it if it's good. We all know that we are going to buy it anyway, but they are going to have to earn the sale.

Speculation is that they are going to do a good job on the port, but don't pull the trigger until we know for sure. If you pre-order this, other gamers will hate you.

Yeah I wasn't sure how good that offer was but it does sound like crap now. I guess I won't be pre-ordering. Thanks for the comments.

Take 5% off for their Facebook like system. No deal. Not worth $300k extra.

Ok seriously… poster must be new… this is just the RRP… don't see how this is a deal unless you mean the bonuses… and even then the bonuses aren't worth paying full price for this game.

    Nope… poster isn't new… his a member since 2013…

With 14 comments and one deal posted. Shame on you.

No one should buy this game from Steam. The Americans are being charged $59.99 USD for the exact same deal, which at the current exchange rate works out to ~ $74 AUD. We Aussies, on the other hand, are being charged $74.99 - roughly equivalent to $91 AUD. An extra $17 AUD for… let's see… NO REASON.

Rockstar can go get f***ed as far as I'm concerned. I'll wait for a much better price than $90 AUD.

Unless you have mates in China.

$29.99 USD and somebody forgot to region-lock it :P

  • Get a Chinese friend buy it and gift it to you. $30USD.
