    I can pre-order a jpg?

  • Where did you spot it at? There's no store or link for the bargain.

    And be aware that most will NOT be a steam code.. more that it's a Rockstar Social Club code..

  • +3

    Just remember its been delayed until March too.

    • Yeah, r* can bugger off IMO, the delay is ridiculous. Initially released September 17, 2013, still not out yet for PC in 2015… unacceptable TBH.

      • +1

        Initial release was for last gen consoles, with current gen and PC unannounced at that stage. They could have just left GTA V at that and not bothered with the other releases. The delay has not been since 2013, don't exaggerate.

        • +1

          He is not exaggerating. The delay has been since September 2013. Just because todays PCs are more powerful than consoles from 2006 does not mean the game should have been delayed 18 months.

          Rockstar get jumped off a cliff. I hope everyone doesn't pay for the game.

          @Guybrush57:

          What? They made a product for specific consoles to be released in September 2013. That much is true.

          There was never a 'delay' of 18 months to release the PC version because it probably wasn't in development in 2013. A delay would mean that Rockstar announced the PC version at the same time which clearly did not happen until late 2014.

          Original release date of the PC version is late Jan, now they've delayed it to March. Delay is 2 months.

          No need to feel so entitled and condone piracy. I was hoping the game would be released in two weeks too but we'll all have to get over it. I'd rather a bug free game than something like AC Unity at launch last year.

          @Guybrush57:
          No it hasn't. The game was never going to be released in September 2013 on PC, so its not a delay. Its only a delay from the actual PC release date.

          @KorupTx:

          lol no.

        • +1

          @IceCreamBandit:
          Please do not accuse me of encouraging piracy. I only said I hope no-one pays for the game. The series commenced its life on PC and I am a lifelong fan so to delay the PC version until 18 months after its initial release is insulting as there was no reason for it. Rockstar have said "Thanks for being loyal fan, now enjoy this kick in the balls".

          Is it a different game? No. It is the same game that has been plastered all over the internet since release but now it has prettier graphics and a few extra features (like all PC games should have at day of release compared to their console versions). Now don't tell me that I should have avoided spoilers because it is impossible unless you want to go off-line in your life.

          Rockstar still want a hefty sum for this 2013 game. They have also announced exclusive content for users transferring to the PC version from the PS3/360 versions as another WTF moment.

          You state that I should not feel entitled to the game which is true. What is also true is that Rockstar should not feel entitled to anyone's money.

        • @SilentBob:
          Yep. Learn what delay means.
          You can't delay something that never had a release.

        • @Guybrush57:

          Being annoyed with the original release not being on PC is one thing, and something I would agree with. However having an outburst over the fact that it took 18 months for a PC release to be completed is retarded.

          If anything, Rockstar should be respected for not releasing a half assed game simply for financial gain, as most studios' would have. i.e. EA.

          It because of people like you that studios do crappy ports from consoles and not proper PC releases.

          edit: Was searching for GTA deals and came across this comment and had to bite

    Its for Green Man Gaming
    This price does not apply for the aus version as code is for 23% off site wide
    Aus version is 75 usd so 57.75 usd after code

  • Grand Theft Auto V (ANZ) $74.99
    23% OFF Voucher − $17.24 SAVE23-PEROFF-MOSANT
    Total you pay $57.75

    Am I missing something?

    Edit: Seems that IGN AU don't know about regions. They have quoted US copy so I'm guessing VPN etc required.

  • +3

    Never again.

  • +9

    Don't pre-order it, for all we know this game could be released in 2016.

    • If ever :(

    • +1

      AND buggy, most likely.

  • +2

    So… you guys are seriously considering pre-order a GTA game for PC, for over $50, even though the last port was horrendous at launch, and still not great now?

    Good luck, I guess, but release isn't until march anyway, why not wait until april? Or summer sales shortly after? At least you'll know if the game is playable or not…

    • -2

      PC ports since GTA IV have been fine, with Max Payne 3 and LA Noire great examples of that. Plus the bonus GTA$ is useful for cars, apartments etc, and they are only available through pre-order.

      • LA Noire I found to be a poor port due to the 30fps limitation to preserve the facial rendering technology, but was otherwise stable.

  • +2

    Bah why did this have to be delayed until March when uni starts for the year. They have lost my interest in the game.

    • +1

      So its more like Max Payne 3 than GTA IV

    • Most likely so they could sell more copies on console. PC-only gamers and the grades of tertiary students are of little significance to Rockstar.

  • -1

    IMHO, Rockstar needs to buy the rights to the Half Life franchise, then release a multiplayer HL2E3, etc.

    • no, they need to put all their resources towards Red Dead 3

  • This deal isn't expired (GTA 5), that voucher is valid until 4pm UTC, 23rd Jan 2015.
